One of our house papers, this luxurious paper is 100% cotton and made from reclaimed fibres from the cotton industry. Its pillowy texture takes the impression of letterpress beautifully (especially the double weight). Available in 110lb and 220lb weights.
Our other house paper, a beautiful 100% cotton stock very compariable to Crane’s Lettra. Takes a very nice letterpress impression, foil stamps beautifully and also prints digitally. We regularly carry the 118lb and 236lb weights, however, other weights are available through special order.
Handmade papers are beautiful and their delicate deckle edge can elevate a project. If you would like us to print your project on a handmade paper, we’re happy to help with this. Please reach out to discuss your needs and we can help you find the paper that is most suited to your project. After testing a number of different papers we’ve had excellent results with Porridge Papers (colors shown below).
Looking for something a little different? We can help you source a variety of different papers that would perfectly suit your project. Some beautiful papers that we highly recommend include: Colorplan, Keaykolour, Savoy, Gmund Cotton
If you prefer to supply your own paper for your project we’re happy to print on it for you. Just reach out to us before ordering your paper so we can ensure the suitability and quantities.
We custom mix all our inks using the Pantone® base colours. It’s best to specify the colour ink you would like from the Solid Uncoated Pantone swatch book. As screens vary greatly in how they render colours, it is always recommended that you refer to a physical colour swatch.
Don’t have a Pantone Guide? You can also mail us a physical sample that you would like us to match.
We also stock a full range of fluorescent inks
We love working with metallic inks like silver and gold. Since they are opaque they also work very well on darker stock. Just be aware that metallic inks letterpress printed on uncoated stock will not result in a shiny finish. If you’re looking for something truly shiny we recommend using foil instead.
We stock a large selection of foil colours for hot foil stamping. If there is something specific you’re looking for and we don’t have in stock we can certainly source a different colour. Our most popular colours are shown below (please note that these are for approximate colour reference only, foil colours may not be accurately displayed on different monitors) .
